my landlord suggested that i could buy those safty belts that attaches to the wall??? is their such thing??

anyway my mom is screamming at me right now about how crazy i am for staying, hugging and trying to save my beloved fish! lol

depends on what type of walls you have, if they are hollow drywall, those safety belts will do nothing but rip straight out of the wall when your tank tips.

Note to self......need to design an earthquake proof aquarium stand!

wow hope you socal peeps and your tanks are all fine...especially John in LA...wonder what happen to the House of Sam

I was hoping to come on here and read that someone got "owned" by the earthquake. :D

Joking aside, nothing too crazy, felt cool, just rode it out, and actually there was a little aftershock at 1:45pm, no too long ago from this post. Very little, did anyone notice it?

didn't notice the aftershock, good thing everyone and tanks are ok

I guess every fish keeping lovers first thing to do during an earthquake is to rush and check their fish tank like I did too it's good I was home if at work it will definitely cause stress thinking if everything is alright having water damge because of fish tank accidents are definitely horrible.
