Socal earthquake

boy i remember the earthquake we last had in Norcal...lol i lost one of my tanks from it...it was a few years back though...can't believe its already been over 100 years after that one earthquake that destroyed SF happened in the early 1900...
 
hope everyone is ok!!! and fish are all good =] I can't imagine what an earthquake must be like =[

you talking about the 89 quake? yea Im actually from nor cal I remember that one plain as day.

I duno if thats true they say all that stuff all the time. I dont think anyone knows. just try to earthquake proof your guys tanks.. I will to all of mine thats for sure. I guess I did a good job with my rock work last night cuz nothin fell in my tanks hehe
 
HAHAHA OMG! I love it. We all are nuts. An earthquake hits and all we can think about are our fish tanks. Personal safety!?! Screw that. Save the fish! My husband posted early on and mentioned our hundred gallon, but didn't mention its 6.5" tall between being a 36"X20"X30", on a tall stand and a high canopy. As a Native SoCalian I wasn't really going to get myself off the couch. But... I then looked at the expression on Eric's face, and realized the tank was jerking around. Being that I was sitting right next to it, it occurred to me to remove myself from the area. My loving husband was not concerned my safety might be in jeopardy, but rather the terrorized look was him debating on where or not he could attempt to save the tank.
