Social Probation , that even legal?

In my school my princeable said me and my friend are on social probation. Am going to be really unbiast as I can here. My grades weren't to great last quarter due to some really personal stuff. This quoter is new and my grades are fine. But due to my last Q grades he kicked me out of the "8th grade area". So I could not hangout with my friends and have to eat at a lunch table alone and sit there my mourning and lunch recess. Now on wedsdays the teachers have group meetings about the students. They voted this (not all but more then half). Now they "voted" I can't go on ALL field trips (like the one tomorrow). and said am on social probation. I can't interact with my friends and don't have lunch or recess. I basicly just sit there. He's not even the real prineable he's just the vice for 6th,7th,&8th. Just want to confront him some how and say this is not fair.

Side note; last year we had a teacher (she was head of all the teachers there or something) and while she was there none of this happened. There were kids with worse grades then me (alot worse! And where even in student consule!)and never did this. She is having health issues and will be back next year. I won't even be there next year tho.

Zfishies... Take this from a dude that messed up in school real bad but had a happy ending (some what!!).
Elementry I was bright
Middle School I did good my first year and was in Science Magnet blah blah... then 7th grade hit and the "Bad Influence" crowd hit me. My grades spoke for itself. Took that to High school were it got worst and I was arrested from High School and was taken out in "Cuffs" during Lunch so everyone could see.
Don't know what triggered this but I then went on to study and mess around (I figured I needed to be smart to mess around. Ignorance of a young mind!!!!!!!!!!). Graduated half semester early my senior year while I did my thing when ever I wanted.

You think I learned my lesson??
I think I learned my lesson when I had time to think in a 6X8 cement block for a while.

I think what the teachers are doing is a way to get the "Knuckle Heads" to chill out (not calling you a knuckle head unless you know you are... and knuckle heads know they are, I was one!). Just remember that it only takes one Cat to mess everything up for the peeps who are trying to fly straight. You could have possibly been one of the Victims or one of the ones who the Teachers feel is/were "Trouble Makers".

I think the issue is "How long" you will be on this? You said its "Probation" and you should find out for how long or an estimated time frame to set your mind at ease.

In red is something tht was told to me many time by many people... "In one ear, out the other". Now I regret not listening to them! But... happy with how everything turned out ...

Trust me... If your the one having issues, Catch yourself before its to late

How do i contact them? I think i should tell my mom. Just checked my grades i do have straight B's and i even went up from a C in Spanish to a C+. But i am going to tell him i am trying and u make me want to do bad as nothing is changing as my grades are up.

Well the worse they've called us was dead weight. I think am that not that bad. I have a detention for saying penis in the hallway and doing extra credit hw (I forgot to do) for English but I did it in Spanish class so she yelled at me and gave me a detention. So I guess u could call me a knucklehead? And your right west it did set my mind down to ease when I thought about how long it will be. I'll ask him today and tell him what I want to say to his face. Honestly I think it all counts once u go to highschool but I am trying right now idk why but I am

If you getting 3.0 and above... that should be good enough for anybody. Not every can get 4.0 and above every report card.

My point exactly. Especially at the OP's age. No offense OP. Been there, done that. Been to long to remember, but I know I was there.

i don't really want to get too involved in this whole story but my 2 cents....his parents should be involved in this, not the student complaining directly to the school board or teacher. i see someone playing the victim when he's only a victim of his own actions. The teacher's future isn't at stake here, your's is. you can't blame him for your lack of success
