Honestly I think it all counts once u go to highschool but I am trying right now idk why but I am

This my little young friend is FALSE. It all starts in Kindergarden (actually b4). It's the study habits and the knowledge in my opinion.
It's like if I said don't worry about maintenance on any tank under 150glns but once you hut 200+ is when you want to pay attention to detail:grinno:. It all starts with the first tank and the bigger you go the easier it is based on your work ethic ;).

That was my mind set for every year... "Next year is when it counts" and the next year I said the samething Lol. Now I do trig on a daily basis (who would of thought Lol). Having kids just helped me understand that it all starts "asap".

Hopefully these 2 things motivate you to study your heart out...
1) study your brains out to actually enjoy Banking on a career YOU choose! Nothing like flipping burgers and struggling to buy a filter for the hobby you can't have :(

2) you are just tasting the World w/teachers telling you what to do. In the real world we call them "The Boss". Not much education gets you there... Lots of Education gets you the the title of "The Boss" :D. Now if you invent or start a bizz that's a lil different. But you see where I'm going... I wish I would of listened n pit for energy into my head instead of my "KnuckleHead" Lol.

We need Chiefs & Indians... Which one will you be in 10 years??

Zfishies... Take this from a dude that messed up in school real bad but had a happy ending (some what!!).
Elementry I was bright:headbang2
Middle School I did good my first year and was in Science Magnet blah blah... then 7th grade hit and the "Bad Influence" crowd hit me:naughty:. My grades spoke for itself. Took that to High school were it got worst and I was arrested from High School and was taken out in "Cuffs" during Lunch so everyone could see:screwy:.
Don't know what triggered this but I then went on to study and mess around (I figured I needed to be smart to mess around:screwy:. Ignorance of a young mind!!!!!!!!!!). Graduated half semester early my senior year while I did my thing when ever I wanted.

You think I learned my lesson??:grinno:
I think I learned my lesson when I had time to think in a 6X8 cement block for a while:irked:.

I think what the teachers are doing is a way to get the "Knuckle Heads" to chill out (not calling you a knuckle head unless you know you are... and knuckle heads know they are, I was one!). Just remember that it only takes one Cat to mess everything up for the peeps who are trying to fly straight. You could have possibly been one of the Victims or one of the ones who the Teachers feel is/were "Trouble Makers".

I think the issue is "How long" you will be on this? You said its "Probation" and you should find out for how long or an estimated time frame to set your mind at ease.

In red is something tht was told to me many time by many people... "In one ear, out the other". Now I regret not listening to them! But... happy with how everything turned out :D...

Trust me... If your the one having issues, Catch yourself before its to late;)

good post E, glad to hear it worked out for you

my motivation when i was that age was that i grew up poor. i got expelled one year for fighting and other stuff. almost joined a gang and everything.

good thing i got my stuff together. i knew no one was gonna hand me anything, i had to work for what i got now.

glad things worked out for me and i can now provide somewhat for my kids

Lol, I seen the Diesel n thought of you... Didn't read the sig Lol.

As for seeing the Loosers... I can't say that as I was once a looser. Let's say I was blind folded and needed guidance ;). Trust... I run into lots of old friends/homies and nothing but their appearance has changed with extra scar wounds... I just try to talk to them in a down to watch motivation way if you know what I mean :D

Not ganna lie, it's very hard to break away from what family and friends are involved with... I just crashed into the same wall 13 times to many Lol (random number)... Had to change :D

You can't suck this up till the end of summer u know how much hell it is

You can not suck it up and drop out. MacDonalds is hiring TODAY - $8 an hour - whoopee! Fish and toys are pretty expensive... won't be any more of that. OR, you can get good grades, stop the smart@ss stuff and be the best you can be. Your choice. You're young enough to make the best of it, if you chose to.:chillpill:

Lots of good advise here. Especially that the students PARENTS should be told about it, and THEY should do the talking to the Super. By the way, what's the field trip to? And what are they having you do, the day of the field trip?

There's always the other side of the story.... I hate to sound like the old timer, but I think there is more to the story.

My point exactly. Especially at the OP's age. No offense OP. Been there, done that. Been to long to remember, but I know I was there.

i don't really want to get too involved in this whole story but my 2 cents....his parents should be involved in this, not the student complaining directly to the school board or teacher. i see someone playing the victim when he's only a victim of his own actions. The teacher's future isn't at stake here, your's is. you can't blame him for your lack of success

These guys are bang on. You obviously were/are a little toerag and you are being punished for it. Unfortunately we will only ever hear your side of the story as the "innocent victim" in all this.
I remember the bad lads when I was at school, always in detention, always suspended and it was always someone elses fault. Without fail it was always someone else to blame or the teachers had a vendetta. Never there own fault, they always moaned about constantly being punished too even though it was their own doing.
Not once, in all their infinite genius, did it occur to them to just not do what they were doing on a daily basis.

Obviously nothing ever changes and the "innocent victim's" story is the same no matter what country you live in.
Just take it on the chin and stop moaning about something that is really, in the grand scheme of things, trivial at best.
