Softshell turtle

Hey everyone I was just curious about softshells I have a lot of experience with other reptiles snakes and lizards and red ear sliders but never kept a soft shell would I be able to keep one in my 60 gallon turtle tank with a red ear slider? And would I eventually be able to put it in my 150 native?? Thanks guys also let me know about anything else I should know about them

i owned one when i was 11 years old but dont remember much and it was alone in a 29 gallon. im no help but if somebody else would chime in about them would be awsome. whats there temperment? tankmates? food?

I think the 150 gallon tank would be nice. They deliver a very painful bite.

Yes. They're not compatible with other turtles or fishes.

Damn it they are so awesome! Oh well thank.you for.the advice maybe one day ill get.one or maybe get another tank! Haha I'm thinking about getting back into snakes and lizards its.been a while but I.miss them a lot but don't have to much room since I have so many fish tanks

Yeah that's what I thought well I just did some mesuring and I can fit another 60 gallon I have in another room so what should I do softshell or a kind of lizard or snake? I'm thinking about starting a new thrash asking this question I think ill get more answers Haha
