Saw this at the LFS store today and couldn't pass as EBJD's are hard to come by around here, I wasn't positive that it was and went against my better judgement. While compared to the regular JD's the amount of blue spangling on these was intense (I checked both tanks out, normal ones had no blue on them at this zone) but they lack the body color/patterns currently that I see in pictures online. I think it just may be a regular JD with nice spangling.

You can see the blue fairly well in these pictures but it does not all show up. It is spangled in blue through it's entire body and approx 1.5" or so currently. Either way I'm going to grow it out some and see where it gets me, just looking for some input.

Can you get a pic without the flash?

He definitely looked different than the other JD's but like I said the pictures I've seen online they had very distinct markings and blue bodies. Not sure honestly, wish my camera skills were better but he has blue all around his body but it all looks like flecking it doesn't look like the actual skin.

looks like a regular jd at least from the pics, the ebjd's i've seen even at an inch or two have that really intense blue color through out.

This is what I thought as well, I may break down and end up ordering one online but it's just crazy that it will cost me $60-75 with shipping.
