meant to say 'we'...

actually house arranged this whole thing with don, so more kudos are due to him.

Also a special "Thanks" to Rich at Infinate Aquatics! He took on the responsibility to ship them clear across the US to Don....

Don was thrilled when I offered him my 2 beani and then consulted Ewok for his 2..... so Don was even more thrilled to have been offered the 4 Beani and a chance at breeding them! From what I understand and from my purchases from Don... he made the Istlanums available back into the hobby just recently (and I single handedly killed off about 6! :irked:) So I have no doubt that he'll be successful! I know I sent off a pair to him..... about 4". I kinda already miss them.... hopefully Don can make them available in the East Coast/Worldwide and JoeFatFish and Ruck Fules can make them available here in So. Cal.!

they are really nice beani you've sent don. a good starting point to get these fish in to the hobby...... and hopefully one day into australia (the way the rest of our 'exotic' fish have swam across oceans in to our tanks over here ;) )

thanks for the comments.
beani are not very common nowadays, although around 10 years ago it was apparently more available. hopefully we get some good results this coming year not only from don but from other hobbyists who have them!

now that I have one coming today, I kinda hope they stay rare

well, i mean i think we should all be happy that this fish is making a come back. i am guilty just as much as anyone else for wanting the rarest stuff, but i guess at the end of the day hopefully i see the light and the bigger picture ;)

i agree, i was just joking around. for anyone that wants one then I hope they have the ability to get one. Just hope they dont become common enough for people that dont know much about fish keeping to mistreat them.
