Thanks! And what you will say about -
may be the Killies is one of the freshwater sorts fishes, mostly closer to marine by amazing colors… :-D

My God!!!!!!

These photos are spectacular!!!, I never saw anything like that, I have produced killis for 4 years but I never did photos, I expect to be able to present something decent.

Sorry for my bad English

Hristo:

Few doubts about your gorgeous photos.

- Do you use an special tank? For example a tank with a cristal between the fish and the bottom.

- The soil of the tank is with a special material? I saw the Simp. myersi photo with a mixed black brillant basaltic and grey matt gravel.

- Which is the distance between the flas placed onto the tank and the fish?

- Which kind of diffusor do you used witth the flash?

Excuse the number of the questions, but, I think you do some things as routine that for me are technicas that I must learn.

Thanks for the compliments, folks!
Hi, Jorge!
My Killie tanks are not much bigger…30 – 80 liters. It gives a opportunity to shoot Them easy and in the natural interior…
also - catch their expressive behavior and poses!
Yes, sometime I add a kind of more special interior elements to make the photos better…
The distance between the flash placed onto the tank and the fish is always different…
Every fish has its own individual specific…just try and will see which is the better way…!?
May be, more important is to notice that I shoot with two external flashes…not only one!

So here are some macro shots of my Aplocheilus Lineatus Gold, hope you’ll like it:
