Some kind of fungus?

White spots going away again. YAY! Not gone yet though... My little fish does not seem active right now but that could be because the water is tinted blue and looks dark. I removed his hiding place because I couldn't see him. He did swim a little after that. He didn't go for the food this afternoon either... I think I'm going to do 50% water change tomorrow and again Saturday to clear up the blue and remove the Methylene. I'll use some stresscoat after the second water change. If I still have a fish on Sunday, I'll bathe again but this time, with salt and methylene blue the way I should have. Really hoping whatever this is gets done by Tuesday at the latest. Not sure how much more of this my little fish can take.

You should do a water change, 50% today and another 50% tomorrow. On Sunday give the fish a bath in a 5 gallon bucket of tank water one teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of methylene blue, rest the fish for a day and repeat on Tuesday. Keep a close eye on your main tank parameters, the meth blue can destroy your bb.

Getting ready to do this. I watched Saturday to see if anything changed. I did the water change on Sunday. I need to do another today if I can. Mondays and Tuesdays are late days... I used some stresscoat and that seemed to help a little. Fish is swimming around again and the white spots very slightly went a way. There is one on each fin except for the pectoral and caudal fins just right at the tip.

Thank you again for helping, @Aquanero.

Good to see the fish is getting better. MFK is all about hobbyist helping hobbyist.

Definitely less bashing from member to member on this site than I've seen on others.

Going to do water change today. Got home late yesterday. I did pick up something called "Pimafix" that I haven't tried yet. Could be the fix. Will try the bath first though.

Whew... Finally got a chance to do the bath. Did it with salt and Methylene Blue this time. I watched him and kept the water moving for him. Before the bath, the little spots at the edge of each fin were present. After the bath, the spots were no longer there. Mission successful? Only thing I'm unsure of is whether those white spots were pieces of fin bone or not... Seems the fin is somewhat short where the white spot was. I guess the fungus ate his fin? Yikes! I am topping off the aquarium and I added some Stress coat. We'll see how the it all goes.

Fish is looking great. No white spots on my fish at all. Still at the bottom but he does move around a little. Hopefully this is the end of this round. Temperature went up outside again so maybe not.

Slight oversight on my part, hadn't checked water because I've been changing so much water. Ph started dropping because I use RO water. Water changing with tap water and Prime for the next few days to get back to 7.
