^ Thats a serious collection you got going there... i've always loved snakes, but unfortunately, my G/F doesn't agree or i'd probably be the owner of leucistic ball python or something... since hot snakes + me probably wouldn't mix too well...

Not going to happen unfortunately, she absolutely freaks out at most cold blooded animals...
The only 2 cold blooded animals i've managed to talk her into in the last 7 years are a panther chameleon or dart frogs...
But sadly dont have the space for chameleon enclosure and dart frogs i've heard can be very high maintenance...
At least i can always come here and look at the pictures of your collection among some of the members![]()
just awesome!
Wiggles - I would love to hear about what you got in detail, perhaps with photographs? :b
Fat Homer - Time to get another girlfriend buddy (seriously). Most non-reptile people in my life luckily seem to be more fascinated as opposed to fearing of my animals. I have no doubt that you will be able to take care of small reptiles that may or may not require attention to detail. Seeing how you can take care of a Fahaka - not rocket science, but in my experience these are not exactly negligible specimens, and especially if you can set up and maintain a planted tank noted in your signature.
If you want to tease-feed your significant other (or parents in the case of the younger crowd) about reptiles, you show a genuine interest in them. Show them it's not just about showing off creepy/"cool" crawlers, but rather a fascination in nature's wonders. Perhaps watching documentaries together may incite a gradual acceptance. I highly recommend Life in Cold Blood as a good starting point, or at least as a good watch on your own with a hand print of girlfriend across your face.
