I finally found some fish for my 60g tank. I've been looking for african oddballs and just found them... at Petsmart
I picked up 2 senegal bichirs (labeled dinosaur bichir - hey, they've almost got the name right!) and 1 leopard bushfish (Ctenopoma).
The bichirs are roughly 3" long and the bushfish is about 1-1/2" long. They're so cute! But the tank still looks empty
So far, the inhabitants of this tank are:
2 Gambusia
2 Apple snails
2 Senegal Bichirs
1 Leopard Bushfish
...And lots of plants!
Any suggestions on more fish to add to the tank? Or suggestions on aquascapement ideas? As soon as I can find some African Butterfly fish, I'll be adding about 3 to the tank.
Without further ado, here are some pics of my tank...and fish
