Some Of The Most Amazing Aquascaping!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don'y really remember the whole article, but I believe it was the top 10 planted tanks category, and i'm sure like most contest there are set rules and guidelines such as all tanks must include the following things and cannot contain these or what not... Maybe not... But I do know that only one of these tanks where done by an artist the wasn't asian so maybe thats why they all kinda look the same, it could just be the style of tank that they all like.. I couldn't do better so I can't hate..

ive just recently acquired another 125 and have been debating for some time now with what to do with it, and came up with an idea for a planted tank based off of this picture, not exact but sharing alot of similarity's. i found this pic browsing and it kinda stuck in my head..i love that its got the two tree styled driftwood's on either side and then the middle is open, im sure in the 125 with this setup i can manage to find some kind of MF to keep in it once its set up. any ideas? lol

Depends on how full it will be with plants, but I would say a Arowana, or a catfish would be good..

im not much into the catfish side of MFK but the aro and others like it are an idea..i was thinking mabye even some eels like the fire eel, but the biggest thing is to keep it a single occupant tank or a community of awesome bigger fish.

Yeah I'm not into catfish either, but if I was to ever get one it would probably be an electric catfish or an electric eel, I guess just because it sound more bad@ss

yeah i know what you mean, speakin of the electric cats, my brother told me that there was a vid on youtube where they had a tank with one and it was wired to take the electricity and and run it to a Christmas tree, it shows it randomly lighting up and everything, pretty bad @$$ if i say so myself..

It's basically sand that is pulled up on a wheel with small chambers, and then gets dumped over the edge and then is picked back up again on the bottom and then goes through the process. Think of it as a conveyer belt that dumps the sand over a ledge and continuously picks up more: Here's video of one in motion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdomBs94wU4
