It looks like you are having too much fun with those customers. I can't believe this guy. You should have gave him your D-Rebel and ask him for his MKII. It wouldn't make any difference to him since he probably can't shot with either one :badgrin:

This guy originally had a D30, it got stolen so decided on the mkII. Thats fine and all... but the fact that he had no clue on how to use it....

Now, if he were SERIOUS about his photography, he'd :

1. Know how to use it
2. Stop asking stupid questions about how to use it
3. RTFM!!
4. Know his freakin lenses......

To top it off... get this, you'll laugh... really you will... (i almost did), he asked where the portrait mode was...

And jay - you're right, i have WAY too much fun with these customers.. course, I was sorely tempted to offer a trade

I think you just made my day. I give you credit for being so professional about it. I would probably go on the "back", tell that story to the staff, come back and laugh so loud that I would eventually end up getting fired.

Oh, all the staff knew about it the minute the customer left...

it certainly made my entire week! Nothing could top this one.. not ever...

I probably would have fallen down laughing if they asked where the auto mode was...
