Some people just don't understand

Awesome dog. But created for the weong reasons, so i do not know how they are, in general terms, mentally.

I hope that nowadys there are good breeders that respect this dog " breed" and maintain it as it should be maintained.

I had an acquaintance that owned one, very unpredictable and occasionally people aggressive dog. But he was a terrible owner, had zero experience with "aggressive" breeds and it showed. Probably one of two dogs I have ever preferred to not be around in my life.

IMO the breeder is a problem even more often than the owner. It's them who determine a lot of how the dog will turn out character wise and especially it's their responsibility to find a responsible future owner for their puppies!!
Also, cropped ears at least look good but cropped tails..

Many breeders just care about the dollar not where and how thier puppies turn out

People like that do not only give the breed a bad name, Doomiedee. They destroy breeds for a quick buck.

They, and the penile challenged guys who need those breeds to show the world, and their parents that raped them how tough they are.

The path is well known. Animals not socialized, kept in small confines just for breeding, breeding by the ton, interbreeding, and deranged and destroyed pups sent into the market for all those who need to disguise their frustration.

It went like that with Dobermans, it went like that with Rottweilers, it went like that with pits, it went like that with dogo argentinos and it will go on like that with every breed who excites trash at any given moment an that, thereby, feeds the media ( the latter only wanst to sell, and mayhem and blood sell better than beautifull ).

One day, most probably, a couple of hoods will discover the turkish Kandal, and every piece of trash will need a Kandal ( a huge dog that is only neede in large spaces where there is cattle and wolves ) as proof of its toughness and penile shortage.

And there will go another breed.

That a good point Miguel and the social media fuels a lot of it by showing these stories of dog attacks. I know it's news and people want to know but I feel like some of those stories shouldn't be aired. Like back at the end of the year with all those shooting happened.
