i dont understand how people get away with that. i had just three beasts in a small tank it scared me of busting so i upgraded asap cause i couldnt handle the stress of them scrappin eating and jumping and raging. now they fine but back then wow... and yet i see many over stocked nightmares and they look fine.

and how do thoes decorations stay still..

Im aware that was a bit off topic, but the second part wasnt. But I am in total agreement that the nasty streak currently is pretty ugly.

The discussion evolved, Havoc. The Op is long absent from this thread ( and he even recanted from the flaming ), and a debate took place about: (i ) stocking and whether it is right or wrong to overstock ( given that those who do it know what needs to be done , (ii ) the old timers, as the epithome of overstocking, and their place in history, as status seeking dinossaurs or. As people who gave a lot to what we know today and, last but not least, (iii ) about the prevailing ambiance of the site, where, arguably, more criticism is given than advice and the effect this is having on this congregation of ours.

Those were basically the 3 main points, Havoc, and the discussion was worth having, imho.

Hardly anyone has started this hobby with perfect setups, that's the point of learning, researching and growing, and anyone that can't understand that is just to arrogant!

We do not need to permanently go off, f1Vet. Everybody is entitled to their opinion and can state it more or less vehemently.

I never mentioned any names Miguel . You just assumed we were referring to a particular person lol. What does that say about said poster if you knew who we were referring to lol. No doubt he offers a plethora of knowledge to this forum but it's the way he conveys that knowledge that tends to rub people the wrong way.

I'm just trying to state, NO ONE IS BETTER THEN ANYONE REGARDLESS OF HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN IN THE HOBBY OR HOW OLD OR YOUNG YOU ARE! POST COUNT AND JOIN DATE ARE SIMPLY NUMBERS AND HAVE ABSOLUTEY NO BEARING TO THAT INDIVIDUALS CHARACTER AND DIGNITY! RESPECT IS EARNED NOT GIVEN!
