Heres some photos i took of my Red's the other day..They're not the best quality but they do the job. i currently have 2 of them in a 70 gallon tank.. The larger one is around 8" and the smaller one is around 5"

These fish are well taken care of. Frequent water changes, and nothing but Raw tiger shrimp, tilapia fillets, sometimes chicken.. I do feed them the occasional live fish just to keep them sharp lol

Nice pics. What do you feed them they have some nice colors..
Have you thought of throwing another pygo in with them say like a Caribe or Piraya. Really nice pics... :headbang2

nice fish, and good for you for having those white plants... I hate those things. dirty so fast.

thanks for the compliments everyone. I feed them mainly Raw white and tiger shrimp, tilapia fillet pieces, boneless skinless chicken breast with ALL the fat trimmed off and live fish(convicts mainly, very seldom i feed them goldfish)

The large one is approx 8 1/2" or so and he's a couple years old, the smaller one which is around 5" is under a year old..

I don't have much problems with the plants getting dirty, frequent tank maintenance takes care of that

I never really see any kind of aggression between them 2 although thats how these fish are sometimes. Even though they seem like they get along perfect you can wake up one morning to see one 1/2 eaten.. I have owned and kept piranhas for over 12 years now and have lost a bunch due to fighting.. I was actually thinking of picking up another one today to add in.
