Forgot to post some pics of the Chocolate. I really love this little guy, great personality and is growing like a weed. It has been growing at least 1 inch a month since I got it.

You got some nice fish! I'm sure you've been to Aquatic Critters?! Are there any GOOD LFS in Gallatin?

The chocolate came from the aquattic critter. They general have nice fish. There is nothing in Gallatin, the only places I buy from other then for frozen food are the Aquattic critter and Fishey Business in Bowling Green, Ky. Fishey Business doesn't have nearly as much but they generally have a few really nice cichlids. That's were my red spotted severum came from. If those 2 stores don't have what I want I order online.

6 days until Titans football returns. Go Chris Johnson!!!!!!!:headbang2

Thanks for the correction mbunafishkeeper. I had been told it was a male and never really questioned it.:) Most of it's blue is higher on it's body and it does not have a ton of spangling on it's gill plate so I just went with what I was told. It has never really had the finage of a male so I just thought it wasn't a very good one. I have no clue what my EBJD is. I'll just have to wait and see. I'm not sure if they can be sexed very easily until the mature. It's fins look more like a male but all EBJD's tend to have longer fins.

Thanks for the info.
its a male because of the blue beard on the gill plate, males dont get the blue beard that females have.

Very nice! you have all the fish that i was planing on puting in my 265 as soon as i get my filtration paid for. i want a red headed severum a red texas and firemouth as well.

Well I just got 4 unexpected additions to my tank. I went out to get some frozen food yesterday and my LFS had someone trade in a pair of Uaru's and a pair of Altifrons. I got a great deal on them and couldn't resist. My tank Is now full. I wasn't planing on adding all these fish but man they look great. As long as I keep up my weekly water changes I should be fine. I've got some massive filtration on the tank.

I'll get some pics posted of them tommorrow night. I've been keeping the lights off to let them settle in.:)

what kind of filtration and what is your turn over rate (gph)

I have a aquatic systems sump rated for a tank up to 400g and I'm pumping about 800g per hour through it. I got it online for a pretty good price compared to what they normally cost but it was still pretty expensive. I also have a XP4 on the tank which is rated for up to 265g. The sump has a huge biological filter and does an amazing job. One of the more expensive ways to go, but works extremely well.
