Since they had babies, do you even know how many fish are in there. :D

Cool pond.

Not really sure. If I had to guess I would say anywhere between 25-50. And thats after I gave away about 25-30 last year to a guy at work.;)

Wow that is an awesome looking pond!! I'd love to build something like that one day.. do you think they could survive the winter?

in places where winters are freezing, a pond needs to have a minimum depth of 1.1 yards or 100cm for the koi to be able to hibernate. the ice layer is usually 20cm thick, providing a non-frozen area of 80cm and a bottom level temperature of +4C/39F

Actually, I am building backyard ponds for a living, and you don't need to go as deep as one might think. We build ponds 2 feet deep and some go as little as 18" and they keep fish over winter. Seeing that we are from the great white north anywhere below here should be the same! Reason being is that water is an insulator, and so is the soil. Water has takes a lot more to freeze especially after it is under the ice already. But nice looking pond tho. I believe it may be a little under filtered for the size that it is. With a pond you want to turn the water at least 2wice an hour, Yours at best is only doing 1 and a half.

nice pond! that's about 2094 gals of water from the given dimensions 10x7x4 ft. wish i could have one but my backyard is full already.:D
how many gallons would a 20 by 15 by 3ft deep be?and i have 3 goin into eachother so wat would dat be altogether?
