well on an update untill i upload some pics. i had a pretty bad year this year. i ended up loosing the fire eel and 3 rays. the fire eel and one of my hybrids during a power outage and not getting the generator up fast enough and the prego female the next week. then a few months ago as we are doing construction on the house they cut a water line and it ran hard for a few days without anyone noticing and that brought up alot of iron and dirty well water up. i get home from a weekend out canoeing and find my tank is a mess from the drip system and all of the faucets had nasty dirty water in them so i had to go to the other house to get the water for the water changes. i lost my male marble the following day and the female marble darkend up to where i didnt even recognize her. she is still darker than normal but is slowly getting back to her old self i came very close to loosing her when it all happend and it took forever to get her to eat good and she is still finicky at times. i have since turned off my drip and do manual water changes a couple times a week and am working on a new tank and moving so pics will come but im in no hurry at the moment.
 
Jeffer I'm sorry to hear about your lost, I see your pair as bring one of the nicest around therefore I thought good thing came to you. Didn't realize u took such a hit, I hope everything works out with your female and you would add a few more to your collection.
 
Sorry to hear about all the hard times. Did you have any sort of pre-filter on your drip or did you not bother since the well should be chlorine free.

Such a shame to lose marbles like that. Hope things turn around for you.
 
thanks for all of the kind words. the only prefilter i had for it was to keep particles out but now i treat the water before it goes in as im not taking anymore chances. this is one of those things were we learn as we go and just have to bounce back. sucks to loose the rays but i didnt loose them all so thats a blessing in its own.
