My passion is for arboreal vipers, so no, I'm not really interested in any elapids.

I agree, the arboreal vipers rock! I'm fascinated with Costa Rica vipers. I catch rattlers all the time here in AZ, they just don't do it for me. Fun to catch though. Did you know that some of those arboreal vipers can eat 150% times their weight at one time! Absolutely amazing!

I'm not a big buzz-tail fan, but there are some species from AZ that I would love to have!

That Atheris squamigera is rediculously gorgeous!!!!

By next week, I'll have my first venomous...'08 1.1 albino Monocle Cobra. I've been paying on them, for the better part of a month and I pick them up this weekened.

I don't have much on my venomous list, but I want Eyelash, Sawscale, Popes, Cryptelytrops purpureomaculatus, and Zhaoermia mangshanensis. The last two are VERY hard to find, but eventually, I'll have at least one each.

Have you worked with hots before? If not, I HIGHLY recommend not starting with a Monocled cobra. I've worked with them and they are very aggressive, lightning fast, not to mention, very toxic.

Cryptelytrops purpureomaculatus are actually quite common and inexpensive, but very aggressive. But they are predictable and easy to work with.

I would love a Zhaoermia mangshanensis but I've never seen one avaliable and im sure it would cost in the upper 4 digits.

Lovely snakes you have there...

But I have to ask (probably a stupid question you've gotten a million times) but have you ever been bitten by one of them?

What got you into keep poisonous snakes?
