What I have done (works wonders by the way) is ordered a few simulation land mines with blast caps on em and simulation smoke powder. The kids used to come onto our property through two back gates (rest of the property fenced in). I set one land mine on our side of the gate by each. I knew they came regularly because theyd leave beer cans and drug parifinalia but stealing my koi was the final straw. I put a few more in waited a few days then at about 2 am one day I heard a loud bang and saw the simulation smoke cloud coming out from the back. Ive never had such a good laugh and the kids never came back again

Do you have a generator for the storm or do you plan on evacuating?

Glad I live in Indiana man. My answer would have been "this has been you and his warning, and I'll be shooting next time."
Indiana is a castle state as well as a right to not back down state. So I'm fully within my rights to shoot on site anyone stealing my property or breaking/entering. And I keep a .40 s&w on me most of the time.
Keep dovii....they would have a heck of a time stealing that. And what do kids on bmx bikes want fish for? Seems like the type of kids that get into trouble not want to keep fish?
I've had a couple of my friends get jumped when I lived in Detroit. One was stabbed, and one was beaten really bad with a hammer.
I decided I wasn't going to let that happen to me.
I wouldn't really shoot a kid for stealing some fish from a pond. But warning them would be enough to keep them away.
No generator, not evacuating but battery backups on all my tanks. I gotta work tonight on Bourbon man, lol. I draine pond way down incase rain is too heavy. That's one of the new and inproved pumps allegedly next to our house so we will see.
