My goof Formalin for Gill Flukes

Well after reading T1's thread on his p-14's i am thinking it is Gill flukes....
I swear something does not look right with his spiracles to me.. Almost looks like skin peeling or possible blisters under the spiracles.....BUT, i have treated a few days ago with prazipro and notice no improvement. He did eat a few pieces of food last night.. It is like he has a hard time staying on top of it and finding it. BUt once he does he will eat. He looks like he is blowing in the sand but does it randomly and in the mid-water column.
He is getting skinny and starting to show a little bit of bones.
I did install a divider in last night that i will leave in until he improves.
I did a 50-60% water change last night and re-dosed prazi accordingly.
I am not sure why but my water seems cloudy, it must be due to the prazi, this tank has been set up for about 4 years and has a sump full of pot scrubbers and pothos. It also has a lot of pothos in the tank.
Before water change last night and after feeding i measured the water

PH 7.8-7.9
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 20
Temp 82

Like i say i don't know flowers but all along i thought the the spiracles looked discolored and swollen to me and the vid to me looks like slightley heavy brathing ....

I fed him a couple times today and ate several times. Smelt pellets and worms. He ate but not enough to get humped up.

Still acting strange. Does seem as if his sensors are not working as said previously

I heard from couple people that Prazi is not working for Rays...

Maybe you should try something else...

GL !

I've also heard mixed results on Prazi for Flukes. I was under the impression Metro worked better but Mr Webber says different. His experience trumps mine.

From what I've read on Flukes you need to treat relentlessly. To kill all life cycles there needs to be prolonged treatment..... 3-4 weeks if I remember correctly. Any less and the eggs hatch and they repopulate. Rays can live with them just fine from my understanding. It's not till the ray is stressed that they become problomatic.

I tried seeking info here on Gill Flukes but didn't come up with much for answers.
