Soooooo I have acquired another aquarium

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
looking at the tank, glass seem thin to any one else? like it was a terrarium and not a fish tank?

Certainly looks like it. At the very least it looks like it's not made to support a 3' height.

I thought I posted on Monster Fish Keepers???? hahaha

Thanks for the suggestions everyone so far. Discuss would look very nice, and also the plant idea convict360 would also be super. The tank is perfect for those things as well as a salt display but I am after something aggressive and big???

I originally thought I would get a tiger shovel/ red tail hybrid catfish but I think the dimensions just may not be ideal even though its a 140. I have Frontosa's that I am growing out, a big flowerhorn, a baby dovii, and 2 dozen texas cichlid babys all in their own tanks. All except the flowerhorn are way to small still.

With a tank that tall compared to width and length I automatically think of slow moving fish such as angels and discus too.

Angels for sure.

The thickness of the glass is about 1/2 thick which is sufficient. You may not be able to see that very good with the pics I posted. It has been an aquarium for the last 10 yrs before I acquired it with no issues.

I saw someone mentioned it already, but I would really consider Leopard Bushfish. They are a overlooked fish imo. Id plant it heavily as well. Watching these fish stalk prey is really cool
