Pacu's are a ridiculous fish to be sold at petsmart....they should either be out right banned or some screening process needs to be done...I can see it now...

It really amuses me on how pet stores in the US advertise fish. They say that a fish will only grow as big as it's tank allows. Well over here, The shopkeepers will love telling you how big the fish will grow, and they usually have a Wallago somewhere in the back.
 
I deny every single person who comes into my petsmart and wants to buy a pacu unless they prove to me that they aren't idiots. And our signs say 75+ gallons for a pacu, not 30.
