Wow, lots of emotion in this thread :)

The ray's digression has been going on for what, two weeks now? (I admit, I didn't read the entire thread) Why the hell are we concerned about feelings at this point? If nothing seems to be helping, get the ray out of the tank and take him to someone that knows what they're doing. If my dog gets hurt or sick, I don't sit back and whine about watching him die. I take him to the vet. I doubt a vet will be willing to keep a ray...but I did see a few members mention they would come get him.

OK, nothing is working, right? He's just laying on the bottom and s-l-o-w-l-y digressing, right? You have two choices...continue to watch and document his slow death and how upset and emotional you are "having" to go through this. Or you can actually do the right thing and take the poor guy to someone that can actually help.

Sorry...I usually have a lot of regard to someone having a difficult time. But this entire subject seems to be more about the owner's feelings and sense of hopelessness than concerns for the ray.

Your soooo fast the whole forum knows I can't spell if you don't know it then you must be new to the forum and as far as I know you dont need to be able to spell to take care of fish

Has anyone even asked what the water parameters are

I have asked a few things and got no reply in another thread we worked out the ray had got burnt by a heater and the ray was still sitting by the heater I have asked a few times if a heater guard has now been put on

I also can work out how the dent in the head and hip bones started showing over night as this takes weeks to happen and not after the ray has not been eating for a few days

I don't think the thread starter done ANY research before going out and buying the ray as the dent in the head is one of the 1st things you read about when thinking about buying a new ray

Yes people do want to help but it's hard when the owner knows nothing about rays and has done NO research which every new ray owner needs to do
 
and i said i did go out and buy a cage for the heater, and my water is fine its been checked out a long time ago like 2 weeks ago when he stopped eating, i have another ray and after he being burned i put one on so he wouldn't get burned, then i kinda stopped replying cause of the ****ty comments
 
As for you letting the ray get burnt in the 1st place that's bad ray keeping to start you wouldn't let your kids play next to a open fire

You say the water was checked weeks ago if you have a problem with ANY fish you should be testing the water daily or have forgot that you are putting lots of food in the tank which is not getting eatern which will affect the water FACT

I think this guy is messing with us...the story doesn't add up and the facts don't make sense (or are still non-existent).
 
Doest matter anymore guys.. No since going on and on about it.
Real or not real, not worth :swear: or bla bla about..
The advice has been given. All that can be done is done and only time will tell
No since pissing anyone off or whatever.... thats not what we are here for...
 
and this will be my last comment no matter how bad it gets or if i have another prob i will just deal with it myself
