great pic up though, where ya get em?

;)

Can you describe them too me? There are several characteristics that distiguish the 'true' ones from the cf. sp. atabapo...;). If he got them from Rapps, then they are
the cf...;).

I'm not sure, actually. I'll find out where he got them. I know he does a lot of his own collecting so I'll have to check.

The strigata I got from Rapps.

and what might those characteristics be?

I want you to describe them to me, as much in detail as possible...i know what to look for...;). If i tell you, then you might say those things, if i don't and you say them, bam...you might really have the real deal. Either way, be very careful with them. sp. 'atabapo' pikes are more sensative than other pikes and are a lot easier to have die on you, trust me. Very prone to HITH, LLE, bloat, and varios other things. If your serious about keepin them, go for it. If not, find some one who is before you kill them.

It's pretty hard to mistake true Atabapos for other pikes that are commonly sold as Atabapos. Post some pics. Between Nut and myself we could ID your fish pretty fast!
