If you were qualified beyond just physically being able to reproduce you might be considered an adult. If you were able to debate using hard information instead of emotional blurts based on only your own limited personal experience you might be considered an adult.
I bet you have said to yourself more than once... ( upon witnessing some horrendous parenting, perhaps in your local walmart) " that person shouldn't have been allowed to have kids!"


I'll go back to my education ( and books) if you promise to read just one book every now and then.

what is the difference?
If you are spanking your child you are hitting him/her by definition.
Is it where you hit them?
Is it hitting them when you are angry vs not angry?
Does using the word 'spank' instead of 'hit' to describe the action make someone feel better about giving a spanking?
Your statement is simply a way to hide behind semantics
