Spawning Beani Rio Blancos from start to finish.

So what size tank are you keeping them in phineasborg? Do you only keep Beani?

they are in a 7.5x2 x2 tank along with 1 other beani and 2 white saums rivulatus.

I also keep the following:
Costa Rica blue dovii pair (male 13"; female 8") Lado de Arenal
gorillus black umbee pair (male 20"; female 14")
self bred gorillus blue umbee pair (male 9": female 8")
4x f1 andinoacara stalsbergis
a bunch of self bred red tiger motaguense

I m getting a few new species:
wildcaught parachromis fredrichstalii pair, Pantanos de Centla
a couple of female stalsbergis
a bunch of f1 salvinis, Rio Candelaria
f1 pair of istlanum, Rio Amacuzac (maybe)

Well I took a fair few fry from the parents to grow out..here’s a pic.
They spawned again last night so more on the way. I got another female that I put in the same tank as the parents.(divider in the tank). Well she laid eggs on a rock 2days ago! Pretty close to the divider. I thought the Male had managed to fertilise them through egg crate! But it wasn’t the case,There all white.
So yes not doing to sad.
Yours look well now. Are you using the hikari micro pellet?
Also. I’ll update the new batch when they free swim.

So this is female no3 that’s decided to drop a load of eggs today. I won’t be saving this batch as iv got blanco Beani in mass right now.

Very nice. They're my white whale. Not matter what I do something always goes wrong. My last one got to 9" then dropped dead one day. Come to find out my old dovii was just close enough to the tank to stress it out trying to fight.
