we all love the fasination of watching our fish become parents and reproduce but what about when that distant parent you dont know sends a letter in the mail to say its my time to die what do i do ? this guy beat up my mom till she had enough and left him hes been distant my 35 years i only talked to him a few times in my life that i can remember how do i respond . whats the right way to say it ?

Honestly? I would return the letter and tell him where he can put it. And then wish him good luck rotting in hell. But that's just me.

my dad got drunk and was abusive. he is still in my life but i acknowledge him as my father. he was never a father figure to me, my brother was. i try not to talk to him for the most part although he live in the same house.

but yeah we all have our own way to deal . Do you have any hardfeelings towards him? have you forgiven him?

im a pretty fprgiving situation. my dad died when i was 2 so never knew him.
my lil girls dad left me, so i can only look at it from my view if he did that to her.
depends how u feel hun. i know its harsh on ur mum but its up to u at the end of the day. hes ur dad. if u wana tell him where to stick it then do it. if not see if u wana meet up and have a drink together. just chat and have a laugh, i dont no.
