i appreciate your point but that spider was consumed well before he had the chance to inject any venom into my arowana. also, the spider was out of it's element and desperately trying to not drown.

Everybody knows aros jump at the slightest provocation. In the least he'd probably slam into the lid and hurt himself or break the lid or both.
