What is the shipping charge likely to be? Just trying to get an idea so I know what to expect...

Also, any pics??

pics of spotted gars can be found at primitivefishes.com in the gar section under spotted gars. i haven't had time to post pics of these actual fish, but they look the same and/or will look the same as the ones on the site. i will post pics of current fish in the near future--

For Southeast Michigan members.
We are also in desperate need of some 20 gallon tanks to fully complete an experiment that is key to our research on Spotted gars in the Disjunct Northern population. If you would happen to have a spare 20 gallon laying around and would like to donate it please let us know. The tank of coarse can be returned to you at completion of the study. We only need them for a short time. We do need to silicone dividers into the tanks but it is nothing permanent.

Leads on cheap or used 20 gallon tanks would also be appreciated.

Please E-mail Solomon E_americanus@hotmail.com or Richard at Atractosteus@gmail.com if you may have any

Thanks much for looking and your interest. Both the sale of these fish and any donated (Borrowed really) materials will help much in the continued research and study of these little known but beautiful fish.

thanks for posting this, and yes, the 20g tanks and/or any leads on them would be VERY helpful to the study!--

PS-- i can offer 2 fish for $75 if ordered together (does not include shipping).

shoot me a PM and we can work something out...you could feasibly get your fish next week if you were picking them up. thanks for your interest--
