Stalsbergi update

Nothing as of yet. They have all gone through the stages (multiple females, same male) and looked as though they were going to spawn but still nothing. Or rather, there hasn't been any fry or visable eggs. I have a feeling it should be soon though. I say this because there was a growth spurt before the spawn last time and there has been another as of recent. Andy is now well over 5" likely nearer 6" and the females range from 3.5" - 4.25/4.5", Sally still being the largest and most dominant. All sizes TL. So hopefully we should see something soon.
I am still trying to get some more up to date pictures of the 135g and the Stals. So hopefully soon I can. I am away for a few days atm, so there might be some surprises upon my return!

Well, I am home. There is no eggs but everyone is healthy and seems to have grown. So I can't complain. I bumped up the temp from 22*C to 24*C before I went away, so this may be a contributing factor. They hadn't been fed in 4 days, so I think the females didn't have enough energy to develop eggs. They are all extremely colourful, particularly Andy and Sally. So I am going to do a large cool w/c and drop the temp back down a bit. Feed them some bloodworms and crickets and keep my fingers crossed.

I managed to catch Andy and Sally during the w/c and get a definate measurement. No pictures as it was a brief encounter.
Andy = ~14cm or 5.5"
Sally = ~10cm or 4"

They are currently lip locking and flaring, testing eachother. So eggs should be here inthe next few days. 6 weeks after the first batch. This will be there 2nd confirmed attempt. I intend to give them 3 goes before helping out, should they be unsuccessful.

Hey Grant, how are the Stals doing? I am picking up some juvies soon and was wondering what temperature you keep yours at? I have only found a few articles, but they did state 72-77F.
