Standing in Tanks

maube put some plywood in first to spread your weight? just my 2 cents...
 
Wow this thread is still going on??? Simple if your glass is 1/2" or more thick it AINT GONNA BREAK! Also why would u need to stand in your tank if it's only a 200g?

I stand on my dining room table that the glass is 1/2" thick and I stand on it dead center and it's strong as hell...

I'm wondering the same thing. It really doesn't matter if it will break or not, some would do it, some wouldn't, it your money, who cares!

ive had my 2 yr old neice stand in my 125........... im not going tell you no or yes. ive seen people much hevier then u stand in their tank but ive also seen people go through tanks who weigh less then you.
 
;) For my $$$$, I'd invest in a step stool or two rather than risk the possible damage & expense of replacing a tank of that size. Yes, 1/2" glass should hold the wieght but how much will it cost you if I'm wrong??? "T"
 
Wow, thanks for all the "info" guys but it is done, got it 'scaped w/o standing in it. So you can let this thread die now thanks.
