Oh my GOD...That is SOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOL!!! 4ft diameter!!!! I wish I were rich! My angels would LOVE that!

When you say respirator's are they breathing bottles, or masks and cartriges?

I dont want to dig in because I want to raise the tank as much as possible. The extra height will allow extra growbeds... Going to try a flood drain system this time, I want to feed the water by gravity and then pump it back into the tank.

I thought you'd like that :D.

Respirator like this... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=44113

and eye protection of course.

kumdoalan brings up a point about the kids falling in...FREE fish food!!!!!

That much water should give you enough pressure. Are you going to use toughs and gravel beds?

Thats the benefit of not being in the states, they come in my garden and fall in my fish pond and get eaten by my fish, its their fault for breaking in and generally being stupid... But thats also part of the reason for not digging them in...

Want to try with gravel filled tubs, flooding and draining. My current set-up is a deep water, and I want to add a system like this onto it...

I think its well cool... Free food and nitrate reduction from your trickle filter lol!!! Okay it doesnt sit pretty in the latest designer pads but I think you probably already guessed that if I still lived in the US I'd have a car on blocks out front

Thats good news about the respirator price wise, but I'll have to cut my beard.... That would be a tragedy!!!!

Make it 3 cars, a dune buggy, 2 campers and some stuff I'm not allowed to talk about and you'll have a closer comparison :D

Several of my projects involved these

Check out their tech papers http://vertigro.com/library/techpapers.php

Very nice products, small footprint/high volume. You can turn/spin them for maximum sun.

If your clever you could figure out how to suspend 4 flower pots (in a disk on rope/chain) per level and make your own ;) (check didn't clear on this one).

:ROFL:The only way to find the sun round here is with a watch and a compass! The light is somewhat 'diffuse'! It is a very good area for rasberries and blueberries, they grow wild abundantly though the growing season is short...very short. the farmers round here have started using poly tunnels and have extended the growing season to 6-8 months... I wanna go all year... bet I need lighting in the winter lol...
