Starfish in convict tank?

This tank was literally just setup two days before the picture. I cant seem to find the thing anymore, but i will post a picture if i find it again. Thanks for all the help guys. It could very well be a hydra, i just dont know yet.
I know it looks nothing like a hydra, it looks nothing like anything, other than a blurry brown half invisible skid mark on the glass, if you can see anymore than that you must have some kind of super eye sight.
He said it looked like a star fish, all i can tell him is it wouldn't be a star fish, and gave the suggestion of the only thing i could think of that could resemble a star fish.
