I used 3m 5200 fast cure (only in white IIRC)

I put huge beads on the wood around the window, rolled it out to smash/spread to get an even bigger bead, let that cure. I put another fat bead where the liner and glass met, same thing, smashed/spread to get a larger better seal. I then let that cure. Now went a thin bead on the edges of the liner and spread that with my finger, let that cure. Then calked a lot of 5200 where I put the small thin bead of 5200 (the edge of the liner) took an extra strip of liner, put that on the fat bead, spread/rolled that out, let it cure, then a thin bit of 5200 on that edge and spread with finger.

I went with the extra strip of liner for security. So if you really think about it, if there is a junk seal some where, which I'm sure there is, it'll have a maze to get out.

Essentially, layer after layer of sealing.

I forgot to snap pics because I was pretty busy trying to get this right and it's pretty tough to handle this much liner by myself.

It's clearly not finished but you get the general idea. 3" drilled over flow, 100g FGT, 3600gph pump, 2 large pothoes plants, tons of ceramic rings and lava rock. I will be running more gph in the future, more ceramic rings and more filter socks. But this is the basic idea.
