CANOPY IS DONE!!!
everything is done! i sanded it and stained it this morning. funny how some wood from the same sheet becomes darker when stained. i will try and get the tank up on the stand and get the canopy on the tank for some more pics. but that i will need a hand for. I'm not that strong LOL every door has a magnet to keep closed "stand and canopy" note the handles on the top of the canopy, being this whole setup is around 80" i wanted a easy way to grab it from up top to take off. you cant see the handles when it is on the tank. but its nice to know they are there when needed instead of trying to grab it by the corners 80" up.
thanks everyone for all your kind worlds up to this point. it was a fun project. would i change anything for next time? YES. buy more sand paper!
i ran out, hence you can see some wood filler on the canopy but i wasn't about to go back to the store for more, i was already sweating my but off and wanted to finish this today!

Oh i got plenty of those.
i have some young adults at a friends. just not sure i want to put Geo's in the tank yet. it may go back to a SW but that wouldnt be ale to happen for awile. i will know once i get it up and running,.
