Started on my stand for my 220

here are some pics of the fillers i made, nothing special. just something to drop in and fill the gap. and whenever i need to move the tank i just pull them out.

i had the extra trim and wood so it didn't cost a dime. just left over materials

Nice canopy and stand Joe! I just have a question. I want to know how you got your dors on the stand. Did you add a piece of ply wood and cut out the area for the doors? Thanks for the help. I love the stand!

Thanks. are you asking how i knew how to cut out for the doors? first off you have to know what trim you will use first or at least give yourself a idea, as they will come into play.

if your stand is square it is easy. put on the doors. laying flat, so the stand is on its back. measure out distance from top to bottom and then the gap you want between the doors but the length of the stand will also come into play. the holes will also be smaller then the doors as well. i left about 1-2" lip around my doors maybe a tad less. and your tape measure and a large framing square come in very handy for this.
