Ok... A couple things... First of all, Firemouth and Salvini are not South American, they are Central American. If you actually want SA for some reason, then these fish are not what you want. Secondly, if you DO want the CA fish, you need to make sure you get a female sal, and even then, if you get an aggressive one, you're going to have problems. Firemouths tend to be all bluff, so if an aggressive sal decides to call his or her bluff, the firemouth is in trouble. Thirdly, you can't put dwarfs in with (relatively) aggressive CA cichlids; they'll end up being expensive snacks.
You need to think about what is going to work long-term in your 60g tank. The sal may or may not. The firemouth will. Honduran red points or convicts will. Multispinosa will. Sajica will. MAYBE a single ebjd, if you can keep one alive or get it at a decent (>3") size.
So, ebjd, fm, multi should work. Or fm, multi, hrp/sajica. I'd stay away from fm and convict because they may breed and decide to kill everything else in the tank.
Otoh, you might try a severum with a fm (severum get pretty big). Or a GT with ??
