i dont really want apistos for this tank, i want sumthin a lil agressive, so im goin for a mid sized cichlid, im leanin toward a female salvini and a capintis or green texas cichlid, hopefully an escondido one, but if not then ill jus get watever kind i can

Well, a sal and a texas will certainly be that. Don't expect them to stay in a 29g... TOGETHER... for very long.

yeh, im not plannin on keepn em in the 29 for too long, ill be movin em as soon as theyre big or start fightin lol, i jus dont wana have em in a huge tank wen theyre small, so ima grow em out a bit

If you are going to end up putting them in a 60, dont get cons or firemouths, fire mouths are N American . They only get 4" or so. You should get something that will get some size to it. and as far as plecos go there are like 400 you can choose from they can be small or 2' long depending what kind you get. Go to catfish planet & go to L numbers.

yeh, im in a big debate with myself on what cichlid i wana get... i wana get one thatll get a decent size and grow it out in the 29 gallon, im still searchin for that rite fish hahaha, its fun but keeps me contemplating!
