I think I'm going to do the magnet on plywood method too. All my friends that were volunteering to help me build stuff when I first got my 450g seem to have fallen off the face of the earth. My buddy came over two months ago to measure for cabinets and a canopy and I haven't seen him since.
Canopy is finished minus a few touch ups, stand is complete minus the doors that I want to finish this weekend. I was using acrylic sheets as the lids, but due to some significant sagging I have replaced them with glass. Finally, I'm planning to try and setup my third FX5 during tank maintenance this weekend and modifying my Python to attach to an FX5 for vacuuming.
