Look up 55gal barrel filters. Or my favorite, flow through boxes. Easy to build, simple to clean, and keep the water crystal clear. They can be as simple or complicated as you want to make it.

No, I don’t think I’ve seen those. I found the inspiration for mine on Pinterest. Here is a picture of it last year up and running.

It runs off one pump and keeps my pond very clean looking. I also have a uv sterilizer since the pond is in full sun. It’s hooked up under that tarp piece in the bottom of the picture. The top right you can see a shut off valve. I use that to suck up any settlement from the bottom of the box during my water changes. It turned out to be a lot more efficient then I anticipated
Its currently disassembled in my basement for the winter.
