Starting over 60 gallon - ideas?

probably some kind of eel, maybe like a peacock eel or a pink paddle tail eel
Pink paddle tail eels do best with salt in the water if I remember correctly.

So I sold some fish today and I'm in the process of cleaning up this tank -removed all the old substrate, probably redoing the background "painting it black".

However I cant decide what to keep next. I'd like to try something new (definitely not a planted scenario again).

Mainly I'm torn between keeping a single solo fish or perhaps a colony of something to have them breed.

I am also playing with the idea of maybe getting a pumpkinseed or bluegill but I'm not sure 8f the tank would be suitable.

Any suggestions? :)

You do a nice peacock cichlid tank or even a Victorian Hap tank. Both have tons of personality and color that rivals saltwater and over stocking is a good thing with these.
