I wouldn't mind growing out a little guy as long as it catches my eye.
I already have a 12" diamond so a small grow out would be fun. the one I saw was about 3"-4" and $25 but it was sold before I could get my hands on it.

yeah, growing out little guys can be fun, you just gotta look for features that will look nice on an adult... i actually bought the ones i have now because i was stuck in an apartment for a bit while we were waiting for our house, so i didn't have room for a large rhom, i had to pass on some beauties.

yes i do... they aren't as evil as they are made out to be, my hands are in at least one of my piranha tanks every day and i haven't been bitten yet. i've had a couple over the years that made me nervous tho, especially the one in this tank.

that's a nice tank the way you set it up, with me i woulda went with a mixed pygo, but if you have the tank space then i like what you did with it. i had a 14" rhom just in a tank and was kinda boring for me, i think i had to sell it and just got a bunch of caribe.
