Stay away from my corner! How much can a stingray learn?

I was looking for this subject specifically. I am trying the new ray with some cichlids. The cichlids are a bit territorial, but usually only displays, no damage to each other. They were interested in their new tankmate at first, but seem to ignore it now. Feeding time is not an issue so far either. I'm dedicating the tank to the ray, so if any fish seems to take offense to the ray, it gets a different home.

Yeah not many polypterus in the amazon bro.. (and large amazon rays would probably eat, and predate on, the moderately sized polypterus family in the wild anyways..)
