Stealth Pro Heater Recall!!!

So this is only if you bought the heater from Petsmart? What if you have heaters obtained through other means? I have several of these laying around the house that I've purchased from all over the place. Am I still covered by the recall?

They told me to contact Petsmart, and if they "want" or "will" take it back it's up to them.. As stated above Marineland has no intentions to recall all these. And they told me there is "NO RECALL" authorized by them..

I find it sadly ironic that marineland makes a shatterproof heater made out of thermal plastic yet it kills your fish anyway because of poor quality control..

Interesting. If that's not a "recall", then I don't know what is. Will they call it a recall after they complete their 'investigation'?

At this point 10 different Marineland reps will probably give 10 different responses to the same question. I suspect they have all been briefed on what today's response is supposed to be.

Exactly.. It was funny the lady totally cut me off when i asked about the recall.. She told me "There is no recall" and then went on with our conversation..lol

I just called Marineland. No RECALL from marineland. This is only voluntary withdrawal by petsmart since they had many complaints about this heater issues.

Yes, I have already stated several times, the word RECALL is not coming from Marineland's lips.

So I called Petsmart and they said I can bring in any heater I have for exchange store credit.

Now my question, I have these guys here:

Are they still covered under Petsmart's volunatary 'recall'? Or is it only for these?
