I tried using a similar sand and didn't notice a scrap of difference over dark grey with my ornate and dats. I took it out because I got sick of the unnatural colour.


ps you have a very feminine finger, maybe spend less on manicures and you could get more bichirs...

It look like tiny colored pebbles that they call "sand".

They call it "grit" here, it kinda looks sharp but I've used it with bichirs, loaches, and geophagus without any problems. I've currently got my ornate on the dark grey stuff, looks just as good if not better than on the red. Not sure if laps or endlis will be different though.
