sounds alittle funny but Ive seen and have herd about getting stergon small and as they grow, addapting them to warmer waters. Ive even seen stergon in with dats, armatus and tigerfish. but do you think they would have any problems with rays?

please dont send me posts saying stergons are cold water fish, I already know. and along with other hate mail. thank you!

So....if you know they are coldwater fish, why are you wanting to keep them in tropical temps...your just asking for hate...

You wouldn't keep a tropical fish in a coldwater tank, why do people think its ok to keep coldwater fish in a tropical tank? Just because a fish can live in a certain environment, doesn't mean it can thrive. And isn't it our job as aquarists to provide our fish with the best care possible?

i am just wondering how you going to house such a monster since they get massive as hell

in the wild yeah but not in home aquariums. normaly are alittle under 2feet.

"isn't it our job as aquarists to provide our fish with the best care" were keeping fish in aquariums and there not able to reach full grown, eat when we say its time for them to eat, dont live as long, some times not alow them to breed and mate and we chose that there tank and setting looks like. sounds alot like jail. BUT O I FORGOT you own your own lake and rivers so that makes it ok for you!

lot looking for hate, just a question. dont comment if your going to be a jerk about it thank you!
