R.I.P. Steve Irwin... i was eating breakfast when i found out...
my dad was on the computer and said "wow... steve irwin died... thats too bad..."
i choked on my cereal.... never thought he would die so soon or abruptly...

Yeah...
I was on the computer, and if I remember correctly, I yelled out "Holy Sh*t". My parents were there, they were kinda mad until I told them why I said that. I was sad for quite a while, Steve Irwin was one of my biggest heroes as a kid, I tried to watch his show every day...

I look at it this way- he didn't die of colon cancer. He didn't die of an overdose. He wasn't killed in a botched mugging, or from a roofing accident. He died doing what he loved- yanking a stingray's barb from his chest. He was an incredible sight to see, and he left quite the legacy. You did well for yourself, Steve. You will be missed.

Steve personified PASSION about animals, education, conservation, he is now and always will be one of my biggest hero's

RIP Steve we all miss you

four years, man. rip steve. since your loss animal planet has turned to old ladies with 125 dogs. nothing better for us? they can never replace you.

Man time has flown it seemes like yesterday.... He was without doubt the best thing that ever happened to animal consevation... he is sorely missed by all.

Steve Irwin was the perfect human being. He was my idol growing up, and still is. He was and still is a larger-than-life figure to me. I remember being numb when he died, barely even noticing. 3 days later it hit me. Steve led the kind of life he wanted to. He didn't die in a bed.

The world is a better place because of Steve. I thoroughly love this man.
