I hear that......bad stuff happens to good people......just feel so bad for his wife and kids...escpecially the kids, can you imagine having him for a dad!!! baby crocs for christmas, not the stuffed ones either.

If you're religious, just take comfort in the fact that they will both end up in two totally different places. Steve was a good man.

if i died, i would die doing the things i love doing the most, which is being a MOnster fish keeper. For people like Jeff Gordon or Steve Irwin they pursue the life work so you can celebrate memoriez of their life...! insted of remember morning for their deaths. We can say we can be proud and happy of what Steve showed us.

I want to say that I feel the same for all of you who love what you do here as a MKF member.

Whoa! This has been a very tough thing for me to come to grips with. I can't say that I haven't shed tears for the man and his family. I feel as though someone close has departed. As mentioned by many of you, his passion and enthusiasm for wildlife, (especially the dangerous ones, which prior to him, were viewed only as evil killers) was unparralelled and contagous. My family and I enjoyed countless hours watching and learning from his documentaries.

I am so deeply saddened... He will be greatly missed...
